I am a film editor, writer, and photographer based in London.
_
I’ve worn many hats over the years, and am award-winning as both a director and screenwriter; I’ve also worked extensively in the camera department. These days you’ll find me in an edit room, underneath a shelf of vintage cameras.
Fiction work cut by me has been broadcast by the BBC and Sky Arts, and has been nominated at the BSC Short Film Awards, RTS South West Awards, and Hollywood Music in Media Awards. I’ve worked across a range of genres and styles, and pride myself on my versatility and reliability. My edit room is a collaborative, open, and calm place.
_
I have also worked on a wide range of music video, corporate, animation, and filmed theatre projects. I cut in Avid, Premiere, and Resolve, and am experienced as a VMix vision mixer.
I’m currently studying for an MFA in Editing at the National Film and Television School.
_
I have a background in academic literature and film studies, having graduated both Oxford and Bristol universities. I’ve written about film, music, and politics for a range of publications including New Statesman.
I’m a prolific stills photographer, shooting mostly street scenes and landscapes on 35mm film.
